- Dr. Shayda Moshirvaziri is an accomplished scholar and educator known for her expertise in both engineering and education. She graduated with top honors from UCLA in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Biomedical Engineering and later earned her Ph.D. in Bioengineering from UCSD. Shayda founded Pivot Tutors in 2014, a successful San Diego-based educational company, which she later sold. Today, Shayda combines her extensive educational experience to support students and families through the complexities of the college admissions process, offering guidance to keep students engaged, organized, and excited about the admissions process.

My daughter attended the summer conference with My Pathway to College and she learned so much valuable information to tackle her college applications. The conference was both fun and informative. We were so impressed with Jen and her team at the conference that we asked Jen to meet with us to discuss and review the college essays.
