Matt , Surrey - I have always been involved in sport, playing semi-professional football and premier league cricket. I always played golf at Ifield Golf Club before I started working in the industry. I started my PGA Qualification while working under Jon Earl at Ifield. I moved to Westridge to further my coaching experience where I have developed a passion for the Short Game. The mental approach to how you deal with the 100yrds and in and how you execute the correct shots to insure you get up and down more times than not. This is the area of the game where games are won and lost.

Ben is a brilliant coach. In my case he works with what I have (which it is very little!) and tinkers with one or two things to store in the memory banks without overloading me with information. It's up to me to take that from the range onto the course but I know what Ben has taught works so I stick with it however I am doing.

Had my first lesson with Matt today after taking up Golf again after some 15 years. I struggle with my fairway woods and hybrids and needed some help in this area to get my score down. Matt analysed my swing and setup and got me to change a few things. All these alterations were thoroughly explained in easy terms to understand. I was also given some exercises and drills to carry out away from the coaching session. Thanks Matt for a extremely enjoyable and professional coaching session.
