Perfume Making Workshop - Beginners

At this workshop we learn about the art of perfume making - the theory and practice of it.

It has 3 parts:
1. Brief theory of core concepts

2. Raw materials blind smelling - essential way how perfumers learn about different natural oils and aroma-chemicals and develop their sense of smell.

3. Formulation and mixing - finding and balancing your perfume formula using all the knowledge from previous parts.

As a final result we create our own first perfume that you will take home.

"Special effects" Perfume Workshop with Spyros (BARUTI)

In this workshop you will learn about floral perfume accords and "special effects" in the perfumery presented by Dr. Spyros Drosopoulos.

Imagine smell of rose in a flower shop. It's floral and smell like petals. But there is much more to it. How would perfumers make it more spicy, dry or freezing?
These are examples of special effects that modify the scent, give it a new profile, texture, temperature and others.

Spyros will go through 3 beautiful floral accords, we will do a blind smelling of raw materials, dive deeper in each and every component of it and everyone will mix their own floral scent and add a desired special effect to it.

No previous knowledge needed. We will go through basics as well.
