Tutor
This is my second year as a tutor with CSS. My prior experience includes: staff member in Duluth schools, youth cross country ski coach, volunteer in a Spanish immersion elementary school, babysitter, teaching assistant ,and personal care assistant.
In my free time I enjoy traveling, spending time with friends and family (including my dog!), listening to music, reading, cross country skiing, and spending time outside.
I look forward to getting to know each student, and supporting your growth in learning!
Note: I will update my hours on a weekly basis and make them available one week in advance :)
Please use nd.isabel.valento@isd709.org to contact me and book sessions through Google Meet. - Hey! I am a second year graduate student pursuing my Masters in Occupational Therapy at CSS. I hope to work as an OT in pediatrics after I graduate in 2024. This is my first year tutoring with ISD 709, however, I have 5 years of experience working in before and after school programs in various elementary schools where I did a lot of informal tutoring. I am particularly passionate about math and science subjects. In my free time I like to cross country ski, swim, watercolor, and read.
